Meet Dr. Luke Soletic
Dr. Luke Soletic is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon proudly serving the New York City community. He received his dental degree from Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine, where he discovered his enthusiasm for oral surgery. Driven by the complexity and hands-on problem-solving that the field offers, he pursued further training to specialize in surgical care of the face and jaws.
Advanced Surgical Training
Dr. Soletic completed a dual degree six-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Bellevue Hospital/NYU-Langone Medical Center. His training included a broad spectrum of surgical disciplines, from dentoalveolar procedures and dental implants to corrective jaw surgery, trauma care, TMJ disorders, pathology, pediatric oral surgery, and cosmetic enhancements. During his residency, he also earned a medical degree, finished a one-year general surgery internship, and served as chief resident in his final year.
Fellowship and Research
His clinical expertise was further enriched through a prestigious rotation with the Osteo Science Foundation, where he worked alongside a world-renowned expert in bone grafting and implant surgery. Throughout his training, Dr. Soletic was active in the academic community—presenting original research at industry conferences, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and participating in educational symposiums.
Certifications and Professional Involvement
Within just a year of completing his residency, Dr. Soletic achieved board certification and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). He is committed to continuous professional development and frequently attends surgical courses and seminars to stay current on evolving techniques. In addition to treating patients, he contributes to the education of future surgeons as a part-time oral surgery faculty member.

Originally from Queens, New York, Dr. Soletic is a proud native of NYC. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter. His hobbies include skiing, fishing, and following baseball and hockey.
